Where to take a last-minute Thanksgiving cooking class
When it comes to Thanksgiving, you may (1) bring one signature dish and it’s green beans with the same twist; (2) be told to only bring napkins and soda; or (3) want to make something new but you need more than an online recipe. No matter your Thanksgiving food station, here are some of the best places to take cooking classes and hone your skills before going to your mom’s house.
Thanksgiving Sides, III with Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen
If you’ve missed parts I and II, it’s still not too late to take this popular class. Untraditional Turkey Day
If you love an Italian-inspired Thanksgiving, this last-minute cooking demonstration at Whole Foods’ Salud! Cooking School is the place. The menu includes Orange, Arugula, and Kalamata Olive Salad; Herb Garlic and Mustard Crusted Filet of Beef; Creamy Two-Cheese Polenta; Sauteed Leeks and Broccolini with Balsamic Vinegar, Focaccia; and Chocolate Walnut Meringue Pie.

Take & Bake Holiday Pies

Blue Christmas Cooking Class
If all else fails and you are looking ahead to Christmas, try this one in early December. You can atone for your Thanksgiving cooking sins. Executive Chef Gene Briggs will show you what to do in four courses, which are served with wine pairings.
