Amazon same-day delivery launches in Charlotte. 5 random things you can get today
We made it, y’all. Amazon Prime same-day delivery launched in Charlotte and 10 other cities yesterday. Instant gratification FTW.
How it works:
Amazon Prime customers ($99 per year) can place orders in the morning and receive free delivery of orders over $35 by 9 p.m. that day, seven days a week. Orders placed in the afternoon or evening will arrive the next day.
So what kind of important stuff can you get same day thanks to internet magic?
(1) Hillary Clinton toilet paper.
Also available in: Barack Obama, $100 bill, Happy Birthday. (Should we read anything into Obama being the cheapest option?)
(2) 1,000 colorful paper clips
“Great for color coding.” You can also reuse the plastic tub … eight years from now when you finally go through 1,000 paper clips.
(3) A DRONE (with an HD camera).
Need to spy on the neighbors, STAT!
(4) “Carpe the f**k out of this diem” women’s socks.
What better way to carpe the diem than by carpe-ing these socks in one diem?
(5) “24: The Complete Series.”
Because Jack Bauer ain’t got time for standard shipping.
