For the first time in years, Olivia Pope will be back in action.

Kerry Washington, Tony Goldwyn, Asheville native Bellamy Young and the rest of the “Scandal” cast will bring the political drama back to fans in a live reunion and script reading. This event will benefit United Way of North Carolina’s recovery efforts in support of storm victims struggling from Hurricane Helene.

“Like so many of us, I watched in horror at the devastation that Hurricane Helene inflicted on Western North Carolina and my beautiful hometown of Asheville,” Young said in a press release.

“I’m so grateful that my whole ‘Scandal’ family said yes to being part of this very special event. It is my heart’s hope that we can make a difference for WNC on its road to recovery. And we hope our Gladiators will come out in force to help us do just that!”

When is the ‘Scandal’ reunion?

On Sunday, Nov. 17 at 6 p.m., creator Shonda Rhimes will open the reading also featuring Guillermo Diaz, Scott Foley, Katie Lowes, Joshua Malina, Joe Morton, George Newbern, Jeff Perry, Cornelius Smith, Jr. and Darby Stanchfield. Producing partner Betsy Beers will narrate.

“This unique reunion, led by the talented Bellamy Young, embodies the spirit of community and resilience,” Brittany Pruitt Fletcher, President and CEO, United Way of North Carolina said.

“We are honored to have such incredible artists come together for this cause, reminding us of the power of connection and compassion in times of need.”

How to watch ‘Scandal’ live reunion

UWNC is one of the many nonprofit organizations assisting those affected by the catastrophic storm by coordinating contributions from the state’s NC Disaster Relief Fund, distributing supplies and more.

Fans can watch the reunion by making “Scandal” show-themed donation, which begin at $6.13 (in honor of the top secret government agency B613, which figured prominently on the show) — though donations in higher amounts are welcomed. Donations get you access to a virtual pre-event with the cast before the script reading.
