Thrift shops are amazing places. They’re a museum of us. Have you ever looked at an object in a thrift store and wondered why someone bought it and why they let it go? Or maybe why it was even created in the first place?
I’ve been taking pictures of weird thrift shop finds for years (mostly from Goodwill) and posting them to a website called Thrift Wrecks. Taking a picture keeps me from actually buying the object and bringing it home. Usually. The monkey family lamp looks great on the piano.
