Aug. 17: Plenty of Pride in CLT this weekend with Sunday parade, Panthers win
CHARLOTTE PRIDE: An estimated 130,000 people turned out for the Charlotte Pride Parade on Sunday to celebrate the LGBT community. Many of the participants marched through uptown holding signs proclaiming their marriage, recently made legal under U.S. law. Check out these pics from the scene.

DOUBLE CROSSOVER: No, this is not spy language. This is a new transportation design that may be coming to I-77 and Gold Hill Road in Fort Mill. The double crossover diamond interchange can help alleviate traffic and cut down on accidents. Construction could start in 2017.
PANTHERS WIN!: Okay, it was only a preseason game, but we’ll take the 25-24 win over Buffalo in upstate New York.
