Aug. 18: No teary goodbyes here -- Moms drink mimosas on first day of school
Why haven’t I ever thought of this?
A group of Fort Mill moms hit the bar on the first day of school in S.C. yesterday, right after drop-off. Sure, some were a bit weepy parting with their babies, but for most, it was a party.
Baxter Village’s Grapevine Wine Bar hosts the Moms & Mimosa annual event. And they don’t mess around: 180 bottles of Prosecco and gallons of pear, peach, orange, mango and pomegranate juice were ordered in preparation. Who wouldn’t love this back-to-school ritual?
