Five reasons to get fashionable with Style Night Out

Vestique, featured in the photo above, will be just one of the boutiques spotlighted during Style Night Out (SNO) on Oct. 1. The evening, orchestrated by Effie Loukas,  owner of Effie Loukas Productions and Lotus Boutique, will take place at CenterStage@NoDa. Here are the top five reasons you should be there:

(1) You can get dolled up.

Ladies, you know that outfit you have been saving for the right moment and/or event? This is it. SNO offers the perfect time to play dress-up — so make that hair appointment, decide on your nail color and don’t forget your makeup. You know there will be red carpet moments, or at least a dozen and one selfies. Regardless, you’ll want to capture your stylish moment.

(2) You get to experience a shopper’s paradise.

Get there early because you can shop some of the participating boutiques before the fashion show. Pick up a cute dress, beautiful top or even some arm candy for your next stylish night out on the town.

(3) You can take the chance to shop local.

Keep those shopping dollars local. There are 22 participating boutiques (and 10 beauty experts) so it should not be hard to find a must-have item.

This year’s boutiques include KK Bloom, The Cheeky Bean and Petal.

(4) This is an opportunity to give back.

Don’t worry if you go slightly over your shopping budget — it’s for a good cause. The event benefits Carolina Breast Friends, an organization that creates a positive environment for women with breast cancer by providing education, encouragement and friendship.

(5) A fashion show awaits.

The main reason for the night! Loukas offers what she calls a “good ole’ fashion show” where the focus is on the various styles of all of the boutiques that are in the show. So grab your bestie and get ready to sip on a freshly shaken cocktail (please note: cash-only bar) while ohhhh-ing and ahhhh-ing over the new fall/winter trends.
