Spend a day at your favorite lake and take advantage of Free Fishing Day in North Carolina. On all other days of the year, it is required to have a fishing license to fish in North Carolina waters. The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission will even stock the waters with fish to give you a better chance of making a catch.
