WE ASKED: Where are the best neighborhoods to trick or treat in Charlotte?

YOU ANSWERED: You sent us so many good neighborhoods to snag Halloween candy that we were already dreaming of the upcoming sugar rush.

Here are the top 5 neighborhoods in Charlotte for trick-or-treating, according to the results of our informal poll and a map to help you find them:

Plaza Midwood

What you said: “Best neighborhood ever! Lots of streets closed for tricker or treaters!”

Dilworth

What you said: “Tons of kids come to trick or treat in addition to the many neighborhood families, safe, easy to get to multiple houses quickly and people go all out decorating. Such a fun night!”

Myers Park

What you said: “Great decorations.”

Pro tip: Beverly Drive got a specific shoutout.

NoDa

What you said: “They shut down 35th Street between Spencer and Alexander for trick or treating.”

Cotswold

What you said: “Great Halloween Decorations for the entirety of October.”

I am sure the residents in the nominated neighbors will not appreciate the influx of extra ghosts and goblins. I know about how many visitors I will have on Halloween, and I purchase accordingly. I will not be prepared for many additional Halloween participants.”
