The largest holiday shopping show in North America is back
The Southern Christmas Show is back.
- WHAT: The 54th annual Southern Christmas Show is the largest holiday show in North America.
- WHEN: It will return to Charlotte from Nov. 11-Nov. 21; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., from Sunday through Wednesday and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday through Saturday.
- WHERE: The Park Expo and Conference Center
- LOCATION: 2500 E Independence Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28205
- NEIGHBORHOOD: Coliseum Drive/Commonwealth Park
- WHAT TO EXPECT: Here’s an easy way to support local artisans and small makers while you shop: More than 400 vendors will be present.
- THEME: This year’s theme is “A Sweet Christmas” — look for a life-sized gingerbread castle at the main entrance.
- TICKETS: purchased at the door cost $15 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 to 12. Ages 5 and younger are free. You can purchase them at the show’s website for $13, or at Harris Teeter for $12.50 if you have a VIC card.
- COVID-19 precautions: The show is following the latest CDC guidance in addition to local regulations. Specifics will be announced closer to the show.

- A special preview night will be held Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 5-9 p.m. a portion of each ticket sale will be donated to charity partner The Sandbox, which supports families who have children with life-altering illnesses. At this event, you can get free parking, special entertainment and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets: $24 online and at the door. The first 250 guests will receive a gift.
- An Early Bird VIP morning will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, from 8-10 a.m. Tickets: $20 online and at the door. The first 250 VIP shoppers will receive a gift. No wagons, strollers or carts will be allowed on the show floor during this event.
