Twigs & Figs plant shop is inviting the Queer community and others across the gender and sexuality spectrum to celebrate this Valentine’s Day weekend in Charlotte with a Sweetarts & Rainbow Hearts Queer Mixer.

The event is open to those 18 and older and will feature color-coded wristband to let others know if you are looking for love, hoping to make a few friends — or both.

“Outside of Pride month, programming and events for the Queer community is often pushed to the sidelines or reserved for the nightlife scene,” Twigs & Figs co-owner Treena Chaudhuri said. “Our love is radical, our existence is magical, so let’s celebrate and create that space.”
