Sip mocktails and snack at this nonalcoholic bar’s national tour stop in Charlotte

Counterculture Club and Sans Bar — one of the first alcohol-free bars in the country — are teaming up to hold an an alcohol-free party in Charlotte with live music, mocktails, food and giveaways on Saturday, April 30.

Sans Bar, which you may have seen featured in publications like Men’s Health or Southern Living, is now on a national tour with founder Chris Marshall. The Charlotte event is the Austin, Texas-based business’ only North Carolina stop. It’s also making stops in Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco.

“I’ve been a fan of Sans Bar for years after hearing Chris’ story on a podcast and think it’s incredible what they’ve done to make socializing more fun and sophisticated for non-drinkers,” Counterculture Club founder Molly Ruggere said. “We were so excited when we found out the Sans Bar Tour was coming to Charlotte for the first time, and even more thrilled when they asked us to partner with them to help spread the word to our audience.”

Counterculture Club is an alcohol-free community based in Charlotte that offers monthly membership, coaching and events for like-minded people to meet up and have fun. Other local partners include the podcasters from Champagne Problems and Amethyst, a South Carolina alcohol-free spirits company.

Admission include light bites, unlimited drinks and samples.

WHEN: Saturday, April 30 from 7-10 p.m.

WHERE: Giddy Goat Plaza Midwood, 1217 The Plaza, Charlotte, NC 28205

TICKETS: Purchase online. General admission is $50, and VIP tickets are $75. The VIP upgrade gets you a limited edition tour T-shirt, swag bag and early entrance for a meet and greet with brand reps, influencers and Marshall.
