Eat, drink and shop at Camp North End’s annual Mistletoe Market, held 3 Saturdays in December
Camp North End is hosting its annual Mistletoe Market over three Saturdays in December, turning the historic site just north of uptown Charlotte into a holiday experience.
Here’s what you should know:
WHEN: December 3, 10 and 17 from 4-8 p.m.
WHERE: Location: 1824 Statesville Ave, Charlotte, NC 28206
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Dozens of Camp North End businesses will be open, many serving hot meals and hot drinks.
- Bring your holiday spending money — gifts will be for sale by stores and market vendors, local art galleries will be open and more.
- Camp North Pole igloos will be on site.
- Fire pits are all around the area.
- Photo opps abound with decorations by Studio Cultivate.
- You can do seasonal crafts, watch a holiday movie, listen to live music and look for Reindogs on parade. (And yes, you can bring your own dogs, too!)
PRO TIP: Show up early — the first 50 customers at Black Moth Bars, Free Range Bar, Hex Coffee, Noda Canteen, and Popbar will receive a FREE mug with a drink purchase each Saturday.
ALSO NOTE: “Colored Girls,” a collection of 25 mixed media portraits by artist Davita Galloway, debuted recently at Camp North End. The art is full of color, prints and patterns, Galloway said in a statement. Each piece is named, inspired by “the dichotomy and intricacies of women,” she said. Pieces start at $175.
