Taste of Charlotte organizers to host wine and sweets events

The company that produces Charlotte’s largest annual food festival, Taste of Charlotte, has announced plans for two smaller events that will focus on wine and decadent desserts.

Centurion Entertainment Events will host Experience Wine & Sweets on Jan. 28 at Merino Mill in Mooresville and Feb. 25 at Embassy Suites in Concord.

The events will feature wine tastings and samplings of a variety of sweets and gourmet foods.

There will also be local vendors and live music at the event.

Ticket prices start at $40. Designated drivers can purchase tickets for $20.
