The Yiasou Greek Festival in Charlotte is this weekend. Here’s what you need to know.
Indulge in Greek food and entertainment all weekend in Charlotte during the Yiasou Greek Festival, running Sept. 8-10 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
This year, as in the past, you can stop in for a full meal, or you can order from the drive-through menu if you need to crush your gyro pita and baklava cravings quickly.
But if you’re looking to head there for the full immersive experience, you’ll find entertainment including folk dancing and live music, shopping, re-enactments and even cathedral tours.

2023 Yiasou Greek Festival in Charlotte
Location: Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 600 East Blvd, Charlotte, NC
When: Friday, Sept. 8, 11 a.m.-10 p,.m.; Saturday, Sept. 9, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sunday, Sept. 10, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Tickets: $5 or free for children under 12
How to get there: The festival is near the East/West Boulevard Lynx station. If you’re driving, you can park free after 5 p.m. Friday or all day saturday and Sunday at INLIVIAN Housing Redefined (formerly The Charlotte Housing Authority) at 400 East Blvd. Side street parking is also available nearby.
