Live Under the Oaks at Birkdale Village

Want to listen to live music? Live Under the Oaks is hosting a performance every Friday evening from now to the end of October. This week, join in on a concert experience from Stormin Norman, a band with a blend of classic rock and country tunes.

Saturday, Oct. 7

Cornelius Festival of Cultures

Location: 21336 Catawba Ave, Cornelius, NC 28031

Time: 3-6 p.m.

Cost: Free

The first-ever Cornelius Festival of Cultures will feature 12 different cultures, and attendees can enjoy delicious food and beverages, including drinks from beer and wine vendors. You can also shop handmade items from various arts and craft vendors, see live performances from local groups, engage with kids’ crafts and much more.

Davidson’s Concerts on the Green: The Throwback Collaboration

Location: 119 S Main St, Davidson, NC 28036

Time: 6-8 p.m.

Cost: Free

Concerts on the Green, a family-friendly concert series, is a popular tradition in Davidson. Old-school R&B band The Throwback Collaboration will funk the night away, and food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Lunch at Tacos & Tortilla Factory

Location: 9548 Mt Holly-Huntersville Rd E, Huntersville, NC 28078

Time: 11 a.m.-9 p.m.

Disc Golf Putting League at Beer Lab by Ghostface Brewing

Ghostface Disc Golf Putting League is happening every Tuesday at the Ghostface Social District. Sign-ups for $10 start at 6 p.m., and fun prizes are included for top teams. Attendees can also enjoy 20% off Tuesday for all food and drink orders.

Wednesday, Oct. 11

Tacos and Trivia at King Canary Brewing

Location: 562 Williamson Rd, Mooresville, NC 28117

Time: 7-9 p.m.

Extend Taco Tuesday into Wednesday with the Tacos on the Road food truck, parked out front of King Canary Brewing from 6-8 p.m. Along with tacos, it will be serving up all the yummy classics including quesadillas, burritos, and chips and guac. Trivia will be held outside, and the first round starts at 7 p.m. Furry friends are also welcome outside.

Dinner at Savannah Oyster Co.
