The countdown to Halloween is over, but Charlotte has been getting in the spooky season spirit with activities and events leading up to the holiday all month long.
From scary movie screenings and bar crawls to costume parties and concerts, check out these Charlotte-area events that’ll make you feel like you’re in “Halloweentown.”
Black Lagoon Pop-Up at Backstage Lounge

Kick off spooky season with specialty cocktails and creepy decor at the Black Lagoon Pop-up at Backstage Lounge. For the month of October, the local cocktail bar has transformed into a dark, dungeon-like space with skulls, coffins and other Halloween elements. While you’re there, check out its new lineup of drinks, including the Book of Blood margarita and the Night Crawler whiskey cocktail.
Billy Sunday Murder Mystery Pop-Up Bar

Experience a night of mystery and thrills at Billy Sunday’s Murder Mystery Pop-Up Bar. Ahead of Halloween, expect tricks and treats as the cocktail bar turns into a spooky space with special cocktails, small bites and decor.

Mall-O-Ween at Northlake Mall

Dress up and trick or treat through Northlake Mall this year at Mall-O-Ween. Guests will have the opportunity to stock up on candies from different tenants in the mall before enjoying a dance party and costume contests.
Dining in the Dark at Forchetta

Treat yourself to a special Halloween dinner at Forchetta in uptown Charlotte. Chef Luca Annunziata will be preparing a five-course meal for guests to enjoy in the dark until the end of the evening when the secret menu will be revealed. Tickets can be purchased online here.
Practical Magic Halloween event at Biblio
