Green Day is bringing its ‘Saviors’ world tour to Charlotte. Here’s how to get tickets
Global rock superstars Green Day will be hitting the stage in Charlotte as part of their upcoming world tour.
Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool’s will be kicking off The Saviors Tour with over 40 shows in 2024. The award-winning band will be performing their newest and classic hits in Charlotte, their only tour stop in the Carolinas, on Aug. 26, 2024 at PNC Music Pavilion alongside Rancid and The Linda Lindas as special guests.
“We’ve never been more excited to unleash new music than with Saviors, a record that’s meant to be rocked live, together,” Green Day said. “So let’s thrash. We’ve got some amazing friends who are coming along for the ride.”
The award-winning band was formed back in 1986, and now has more than 75 million records sold worldwide and 10 billion cumulative audio and visual streams. The tour won’t just be a celebration of Green Day’s 14th studio album; it’ll also be a celebration of the 30th anniversary of their certified Diamond album, Dookie, and the 20th anniversary of American Idiot.
“The tour will be a larger-than-life, career-spanning celebration of one of the biggest musical acts of all time and some of the most important albums in history,” Live Nation said in a media release. “With blazing guitars and electrifying vocals, Green Day are ready to bring their mind-blowing collection of hits to stadiums across the country, along with plenty of additions from their newly announced album, Saviors.”
How to get Green Day concert tickets
Tickets will be available starting with a presale for Citi cardmembers on Tuesday, Nov. 7. More pre-sales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale on Friday, Nov. 10.
