2023 Holiday markets guide: A list of local pop-ups for shopping around Charlotte

The holiday season is in full swing, and all month long there are several markets and pop-up shops in Charlotte where you can complete your holiday shopping.

From clothing and accessories to arts and crafts, there are a variety of unique gifts you can get from local businesses and vendors.

So mark your calendars. Here’s a list of holiday markets, pop-ups and more around the Charlotte area where you can eat, shop and be merry:

Carolina Holiday Light Spectacular

Location: Ballantyne’s Backyard, 11611 N Community House Rd, Charlotte, NC 28277

When: Now through Dec. 30 with varying times

Enjoy a night of holiday cheer and shopping at the Carolina Holiday Light Spectacular at Ballantyne’s Backyard. In addition to an outdoor trail of festive lights and performances, there will also be a Holiday Village market with boutiques and shops you can check out.

Light The Knights

Location: Truist Field, 324 S Mint St, Charlotte, NC 28202

When: Now-Jan. 1 with varying times

The 4th annual Light the Knights festival is back at Truist Field.In addition to ice skating and snow tubing, there is also The Market with several vendors selling jewelry, toys, baked goods, crafts and more.

Mistletoe Market

Location: Camp North End, 300 Camp Rd, Charlotte, NC 28206

When: Dec. 16, 3-8 p.m.

Vintage Charlotte and Studio Cultivate are teaming up to host Mistletoe Market at Camp North End. The weekly market will feature vendors, live music, crafting activities and holiday movie screenings and more.

OMB Christmas Market

Location: The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery & Biergarten, 4150 Yancey Rd, Charlotte, NC 28217

When: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until Dec. 17, 12-9 p.m.

Grab a pint and some presents at Olde Mecklenburg Brewery’s festive market, Weihnachtsmarkt, this year. Charlotte’s oldest brewery will host over 140 vendors you can shop from while enjoying holiday music, food and drinks.

VTGCLT Pop

Location: Camp North End, 201 Camp Road, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28206

When: Daily until Dec. 23, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.

Ahead of the holidays, VTGCLT Pop will be hosting pop-ups with handmade and vintage pieces from 90+ local and regional vendors at Camp North End.
