Charlotte SHOUT! festival is back in uptown. What you need to know before you go

Starting this weekend, uptown streets will be transformed into an art lover’s paradise for one of the biggest music, art and food events of the year: Charlotte SHOUT!

The third annual family-friendly festival is back with two weeks of art installations, live music, food trucks, pop-up shops and more to check out this spring.

All the fun kicks off Friday, March 29, with several events every day until Sunday, April 14.

There are over 200 things to do and check out during the multi-week event. Here are some of the curated experiences by area or SHOUT! Zone:

Parking options and public transportation

With many of the events set in the heart of uptown, there are several parking options around the area if you’re planning on driving. You can find a list of parking garages and lots within the area online at www.parkme.com.

If you want to skip the traffic, you can also ride the light rail. Tickets can be bought at a Ticket Vending Machine at each station platform or online through the CATS-Pass mobile app.
