Fresh finds: Your guide to 20+ farmers markets in the Charlotte area

Spring is here, which means farmers market season is in full swing.

Across the Charlotte area, more than two dozen farmers markets offer fresh produce, baked goods, flowers and more — all while supporting local growers and makers.

From the city streets to the suburbs, here are more than 20 markets to visit this season:

Ballantyne Farmers Market

Location: Brixham Park, 15810 Ballantyne Medical Pl, Charlotte, NC 28277

Market season: May 7, June 4, July 2, Aug. 6, Sept. 3 and Oct. 1

Charlotte Regional Farmers Market

Location: 1801 Yorkmont Rd, Charlotte, NC 28217

Market season: Year-round

Hours: Wednesday-Sunday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.

Cotswold Farmers Market
