Cancer doesn’t stop for COVID, and neither does 24 Hours of Booty. It’s going virtual
The 19th annual 24 Hours of Booty event has been reformatted due to COVID-19, but Charlotte bike riders can still join 24 Hours of Booty UnLooped to raise money to fight cancer.
The virtual livestream event will be held from July 24-27, and participants can join in on a range of activities from the comfort of their own homes and neighborhoods. Event highlights include bike rides, 2.4-mile runs, yoga, midnight pizza and campouts. Registration is $25 and includes an event t-shirt. Funds raised will benefit the Levine Cancer Institute at Atrium Health, Levine Children’s Hospital and Queens University of Charlotte.
Cancer doesn’t stop for the COVID-19 pandemic, and those living with the disease are still in need of the programs and services that the 24 Foundation funds. There are already 1,200 participants signed up to go UnLooped in their yards and neighborhoods.
Participants must maintain social distancing whenever possible and wear masks when it’s not. Atrium Health and Giordana Cycling have donated masks for all participants.
