Core Power Yoga (and its cult-like following) is coming to Charlotte
Big news for yogis who know the brand from living in a big city: Core Power Yoga is coming to Charlotte.
The studio will open its first local studio in September in Charlotte’s midtown, though an exact location was not immediately available.
CPY is a national brand that, not unlike SoulCycle, boasts a cult-like following in major U.S. cities. CPY offers a slew of different yoga classes to a variety of skill levels, including beginner Vinyasa yoga, advanced hot yoga and yoga sculpt, which is yoga sequences done with free weights.
Core Power Yoga also offers a two-week, high intensity interval training (HIIT) boot camp and a four-week yoga teacher training program.
For first-time customers, the first week of classes is free.
All studios are laid out similarly, and amenities include private changing rooms with lockers and showers, a retail shop and mats and towels available to rent.
The company has studios in 19 states and the District of Columbia. In North Carolina, CPY has a studio in Raleigh and another one coming to Cary, according to its website.
