We asked for the best sandwich shops in Charlotte, and we heard about plenty of places that keep you coming back for more.
On March 2, CharlotteFive invited readers to share the best local places to eat sandwiches. We reviewed your nominations and asked our staff’s foodies to recommend can’t-miss spots for Reubens, tuna melts and other lunchtime favorites.
We started with a list of 36 nominees, and the Top 4 are still vying to be the winner. Below, you can cast your vote for the Charlotte-area sandwich shop you love the most:

The fourth round will determine the Top 2. It will be live from about 1 p.m. March 16 until noon Wednesday, March 18.
The fifth round will determine the winner. It will be live from about 1 p.m. March 18 until noon Friday, March 20.

This is a fun contest and isn’t meant to be a scientific poll. To go up for a vote, nominees had to have a “location in the Charlotte region — which includes surrounding areas such as Lake Norman, Gastonia, Matthews, Mint Hill and Fort Mill — and have fewer than 20 locations nationwide.”
