Driving through some parts of Charlotte can feel like you’re going through a windy maze.

Now, Google has found a way to make moving through local streets a little fun, all with the help of a popular arcade game from the past.

Just in time for April Fool’s Day, the popular search engine rolled out a feature that lets you turn its Maps tool into a Pac-Man game.

To play, search for an address. Then click on the Pac-Man symbol in the bottom left of the map. Soon, you’ll see the familiar blue screen with blinking pac-dots and, of course, ghosts and monsters.

We decided to play -- I mean, test -- the game at a few spots in Charlotte. Let’s see how well you can move through these local places:

▪  The intersection of Queens and Providence Roads

▪  UNC Charlotte campus

▪  Ballantyne Village

Unfortunately, Pac-Man can’t go everywhere in Charlotte. The game won’t work in areas without many roads. So the inside of Bank of America Stadium is out. (Sorry, Panthers)

But plenty of other spots work well for the game. Have fun!
