A dance performance Saturday at Ovens Auditorium will blend a Danielle Steele novel and a Bollywood musical. You read that right: “Vaadaa: A Promise is Forever,” will feature hundreds of costumed dancers performing a drama of romance, love, passion, sacrifice and betrayal.

Nrityangan Cultural Academy will do the show to raise money for Maiti Nepal (which rehabilitates sex-trafficked girls) and Tree House Children’s Advocacy Center in Union County. Vendors will also sell jewelry, clothes and food onsite.

The show begins at 4:30 p.m. Tickets cost $20 but must be bought in advance. Contact Ritu Mukherjee 704-840-5495 or e-mail ritusdance@gmail.com.
