The team’s B-Dazzlers squad – coming off a home loss – will host the Star City Roller Girls of Roanoke, Va., in a bout with a “Star Wars” theme (fans are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite characters).

North Carolina Brewers and Music Festival

The Grammy-winning Steep Canyon Rangers of Brevard will lead the music acts at the fifth annual event, which also features 15 breweries – including Birdsong, District 9, Triple C and Unknown from Charlotte.

The S.C. Christian rock band that opened for Taylor Swift in Charlotte in 2011 headlines the outdoor venue’s second show of 2015. With Ben Rector, Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors, and Colony House.

Timbavati Falls at Tiger World

11 a.m. Tiger World, 4400 Cook Road, Rockwell. $15 ($12 for seniors and kids 2-17). www.tigerworld.us.

The zoo unveils its latest exhibit for Michael, its rare Timbavati White Lion. It includes a giant waterfall, a stone patio with an interactive glass feature and the best seat in the house: inside a custom Land Rover.
