Sponsored by Circle K and Kangaroo, the uptown street fair will run from noon to midnight Thursday, mainly along Tryon Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The Reason You Stayed: The all-female Charlotte band performs original songs, classic rock and “familiar pop with a twist”; 7-8 p.m., Coca-Cola Stage, Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in front of NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Appetite for Destruction: Billing itself as “the ultimate Guns N’ Roses Experience,” the tribute band has been recreating Guns N’ Roses’ songs and appearance for 15 years; 8:30-10 p.m., Coca-Cola Stage.

Departure: The Journey tribute band uses two lead singers to help it recreate the 1980s supergroup’s phases; 10:30-11:45 p.m., Coca-Cola Stage.
