‘FOX & Friends’ will broadcast live from this popular Charlotte-area family restaurant

The Fox News morning program “FOX & Friends” will broadcast its signature “Breakfast with Friends” segment live at a popular family restaurant in Concord on Friday, the show’s producers said Thursday.

Rachel Campos-Duffy, co-host of “FOX & Friends Weekend,” will talk with diners at The Wayside Family Restaurant, 788 Church St. North, and discuss NASCAR’s Coca-Cola 600, Memorial Day and other news of the day, according to a show news release.

“FOX & Friends” airs 6-9 a.m. weekdays.

The 600, NASCAR’s longest race of the season, is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday at nearby Charlotte Motor Speedway. Fox will broadcast the race.

“FOX & Friends Weekend,” which airs 6 to 10 a.m. on weekends, also will broadcast live from the speedway this weekend.
