Now that Carowinds’ Fury 325 roller coaster is repaired and reopened, how likely is it that you’d take the 81-degree plunge on it?
The coaster had been closed since June 30 after a park guest caught video of a fractured pillar on the ride. Carowinds repaired the beam and tested and retested the ride, which state inspectors cleared for reopening.
Fury 325 is one of the world’s tallest and most popular roller coasters, and features a 1.2-mile track reaching top speeds of 95 mph and a height of 325 feet.
