Pattie Boyd Attends Ex-Husband Eric Clapton's Concert 37 Years After Their Split and It's Turning Heads
Pattie Boyd rose to fame as the wife of some of the world's most legendary musicians, and she just reunited with her ex-husband, Eric Clapton.
The English beauty, 82, who is known for her marriages to Beatles legend George Harrison and Clapton, met Harrison in 1964 on the set of the Beatles movie A Hard Day's Night. However, the couple divorced in 1977, and she went on to marry Clapton in 1979. Now, the legendary rocker wife saw her ex in concert earlier this week when he took the stage for two intimate concerts in England.
"Fabulous to see Eric in the relatively intimate G-Live venue in Guildford on Monday evening. Great to hear 'Old Love', 'Layla' and 'Wonderful Tonight' (amongst others) live again," Boyd captioned the photo, which showed Clapton standing on stage with a guitar in his hands.
Interestingly, Boyd mentioned Clapton's famous song "Layla," which he performed with his band Derek and the Dominoes. Legend has always said that the song was always inspired by Clapton's secret love for Boyd while she was married to Harrison.
Who is Pattie Boyd Married To?
While Boyd split from Clapton in 1989, she's been happily married to Rod Weston since 2015.
