Ariana Grande Announces Eighth Studio Album

Ariana Grande is officially gearing up for a new era.

The 32-year-old pop star took to Instagram to announce her eighth studio album, “Petal.” The new album will be released via Republic Records on July 31 and was executive produced by Grande and ILYA, a key collaborator on her last album, “Eternal Sunshine.”

In a statement, Grande opened up the new album and said: "Something that is full of life and growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging."

Before the official announcement, the “Yes, And” singer previously hinted at the new album in her Instagram post back on April 8, which featured her working at the studio. The singer-songwriter also included an image of flowers as well, which hinted at the album’s title.

The new album follows Grande’s eighth studio album, “Eternal Sunshine,” releasedin March 2024. She will soon embark on The Eternal Sunshine Tour on June 6, marking her first time on the road since 2019.

In an interview on the “Good Hang with Amy Poehler” podcast back in November 2025, Grande revealed that she’s considering this upcoming tour her “‘One last hurrah.’ For now”

“I think the last 10 to 15 years will look very different to the ones that are coming up,” Grande said in the interview. “I don’t want to say any definitive things. I do know that I’m very excited to do this small tour, but I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long, long time.”

“I spent so much time only doing pop music - but I grew up as a girl who loved musical theater and comedy,” she continued. “So I think the thing that will be best for my soul and also my art and for what I’m giving to myself to, is if I’m chasing things that feel very right in the moment.”

Although this may be her last tour for a while, Grande confirmed she plans to give it her all.

“It’s going to be beautiful, and I’m so grateful that,” she added. “I think that’s why I’m doing it because I’m like, ‘One last hurrah.’ For now.”

“Petal”is now available for pre-order on Grande’s website.
