News of the incident comes after Valli's other son, Emilio, 31, was granted a temporary restraining order in 2024. The order was given after Emilion allegedly said that his older brother tried to break into their father's home and made threats against him and the singer. As a result, the restraining order orders Francesco to stay away from his father.

The "Sherry" and "Big Girls Don't Cry" singer has previously commented that he is "saddened" by what has occurred.
