Queen Latifah, Pink to perform 'Chicago' tribute at Tony Awards

June 1 (UPI) --Queen Latifah, Pink and other stars will perform a tribute to the Broadway musical Chicago at the Tony Awards.

Latifah, who played Mama Mortin in the 2002 film adaptation, will take the stage alongside Pink, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Alex Newell, Adrienne Warren, Julianne Hough, Whitney Leavitt and Dylan Mulvaney.

The tribute will celebrate Chicago's 30th anniversary on Broadway.

Previously announced performers include the original Book of Mormon cast and cast members from The Lost Boys, Schmigadoon!, Titanique, Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), Cats: The Jellicle Ball, Ragtime and Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show.

Pink will host the Tonys Sunday at Radio City Musical Hall in New York. The ceremony airs at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and will also stream on Paramount+.

The Lost Boys and Schmigadoon! lead this year's nominees with 12 nominations each, including for Best New Musical.
