Jason Kelce gushes about daughters, rumored flower girls at Swift wedding
Jason Kelce is sharing details about his family's involvement in brother Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's wedding.
Speaking to tournament representatives while participating in the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament on Sunday, July 12, the former Philadelphia Eagles center opened up about the July 3 Madison Square Garden ceremony being "a special event for our entire family," according to the Reno Gazette Journal, part of the USA TODAY Network.
Jason, 38, added, "Obviously my daughters are incredible. They're beautiful, they're incredible personalities. And Travis and Taylor love them.
"Very happy we were able to be a part of it. And more importantly, very happy for those two," he continued. "It was an amazing day."
Jason and wife Kylie Kelce share four daughters: Wyatt, 6; Elliotte, 5; Bennett, 3; and 15-month-old Finnley. Sportscaster Rich Eisen, who attended the wedding with wife Suzy Shuster, told Entertainment Tonight in a July 10 interview that Jason and Kylie's children were flower girls.
"The Kelce family's just awesome, Kylie as well. Those four little girls who were sprinkling flower petals all over the place, it's pretty cool," Eisen said.
Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift wedding details: Dior dress, Paul McCartney performance
Travis and Swift haven't released photos and have so far shared only a few details about their nuptials; they confirmed through Swift's publicist that the bride and groom's attire was Christian Dior Haute Couture, designed by creative director Jonathan Anderson, and Jason performed best man duties while Swift's brother, Austin, was the man of honor.
The ceremony was officiated by Travis' "Happy Gilmore 2" costar Adam Sandler.
Among those who were in attendance at the event were a mix of people in Kelce and Swift's orbit, including NFL colleagues such as Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid, as well as Swift's musical collaborators and friends like Jack Antonoff, Ed Sheeran and Zoë Kravitz.
Some of those who were among the hundreds of guests have provided some insight into the extravagant New York City event in recent weeks.
Paul McCartney broke a decades-long drought for Beatles fans by performing "I Want to Hold Your Hand" during the reception, a source confirmed to USA TODAY. Stevie Nicks, one of Swift's musical inspirations and "The Tortured Poets Department" collaborators, also performed.
Photos shared by guests showed custom handkerchiefs embroidered with the "Blank Space" lyric "So it's gonna be forever" and "T&T," as well as the wedding date and city. Other goodies for guests included Chanel and Dior saddle bags that attendees could win by playing games or entering a raffle.
