Beaujolais Festival

Queens University, Burwell Hall, 1900 Selwyn Ave.

Friday, 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.: Every year, on the third week of November, the Beaujolais Nouveau is released. The Alliance Francaise de Charlotte hosts this celebration of the first grape harvest of the season. In addition to wine tasting (six different wines) and food, festivities include jazz bands, men choir, silent auction and a raffle. Tickets $30 members, $35 non-members; afcharlotte.org.
