First Ward Park Lights Up

Tuesday, noon: Charlotte’s newest park is officially dedicated at noon, with activities, hot chocolate, park tours and refreshments available until 6:30 p.m. Beginning at 4:30 p.m., sample food and drink from the businesses across the street at 7th Street Public Market; at 5:30 p.m. the park’s holiday light display will be turned on.
Jazz Room: A Swingin’ Holiday Celebration

Train to Christmas Town

Friday, 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.: A festive holiday train ride based on the book of the same name published in 2012.
