‘A Borrowed Identity’

This new film from Israeli director Eran Riklis (“The Lemon Tree”) centers on Eyad, a gifted Palestinian Israeli boy who may have to sacrifice his identity to be accepted as he makes friends during his stay at a prestigious boarding school in Jerusalem. Post-film discussion led by Joyce Dalsheim, an author and professor at UNC Charlotte with a specialty in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.

Immerse yourself in Latin American culture, music and food at the second annual Venezuelan Christmas celebration, featuring music from former Gran Coquivacao singer Juan Carlos Acaya and his Miami/Venezuela-based band SwinGaitero. They’ll play holiday classics following tropical band Ultimanota and dance by Raices Venezolanas.
