Sweet Escapes
Area nonprofit Community Link will host its annual fundraiser, Sweet Escapes, on April 16. The event, held at the Mint Museum Randolph (2730 Randolph Road), will feature over 500 pounds of chocolate, plus wine, hors d’oeuvres and live entertainment. Tickets: www.sweet-escapes.org.

BLT Steak (110 N. College St.) will offer tax-day relief with half off all alcoholic beverages on April 18 during lunch and dinner.
Taste of the Nation

C3 Lab, Friendship Gardens and CLTURE will host their second culinary canvas collaborative dinner featuring dinner, live music and art May 5 at C3 Lab (2525 Distribution St.). Good Food (1701 Montford Drive) executive chef Larry Schreiber has refreshed his spring menu. New are a blueberry lavender margarita, shrimp with salt roasted beets, green herb tahini and pickled beets on a pita and banana bread with macadamia ice cream and goat’s milk Dulce de Leche.
