For the first Friday-night home game of 2016, all Knights players will wear No. 42 jerseys as the team celebrates Jackie Robinson Day; the team also will welcome former Negro League players to the ballpark, and shoot off post-game fireworks.

‘Jazz Room at the Symphony’

Conductor Norman Huynh leads an hour of jazz with the Charlotte Symphony, featuring vibraphonist Christian Tamburr. The ticket includes a free drink.

Comedy

The Sklar Brothers

When not doing standup together, twins Randy and Jason Sklar’s comedy career has included appearances on HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Entourage,” and FX’s “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”
