Spectrum Center announces first concert postponement over coronavirus concerns

The Spectrum Center in uptown Charlotte announced its first concert postponed due to concerns over the new coronavirus.

Singer Michael Bublé postponed his March 18 concert at the center, along with his concerts in Raleigh and other cities on his current tour.

“I was looking forward to getting back on the road but the safety of my fans and my touring family of course take priority under the current circumstances,” Bublé said in a news release.

“We will be coming back soon with new dates and everyone will be safe to enjoy a great night out,” he said. “Stay well everyone.”

Because Bublé plans to announce rescheduled dates soon, fans should hold on to their tickets, Don Fox, the tour’s national promoter, said in the release Thursday.
