Frigid 5K Run and Plunge
U.S. National Whitewater Center, 5000 Whitewater Center Parkway
Saturday, 8 a.m.: Warm up with a 5K on the new Greenway Trail along Whitewater Center Parkway, then cool down very quickly by leaping into the chilly waters of the world’s largest man-made whitewater river. Registration $30 by Thursday, $37 day of race. www.usnwc.org
