What to Watch on Tuesday: Sutton Foster charms in ‘Younger’
Also on tonight . . .
The Dovekeepers (9 p.m., CBS) - Part one of a miniseries based on Alice Hoffman’s fictional accounting of the siege of Masada and starring Cote de Pablo (Ziva from “NCIS”). Produced by Roma Downey and Mark Burnett. The conclusion airs Wednesday at 9.
Cancer: The Emperor of All Maladies (9 p.m., UNC-TV) - Part two of this Ken Burns documentary series focuses on the genetic basis of cancer and advances in research that lead to more precise therapies.
Weird Loners (9:30 p.m., Fox) - A new sitcom following four unmarried people who are thrown together by unfortunate circumstances and then form strange but sweet friendships. There’s an out-of-work cad (Zachary Knighton), a tragically single-in-her-30s dental hygenist (Becki Newton), a helpless man-child (Nate Torrence) and a detached artist (Meera Rohit Kumbhani). It’s not exactly funny, but after a few episodes, the loners – and the bonds they form – start to grow on you.
Justified (10 p.m., FX) – Raylan and the Marshals scramble to deal with a crisis that threatens all of their careers. Only two more episodes after tonight.
