What to Watch on Friday: A Reagan is shot in ‘Blue Bloods’ finale
Blue Bloods (10 p.m., CBS) – In the Season 5 finale, Danny tries to control his emotions while tracking a gang member responsible for shooting a member of the Reagan family. Who gets shot? Well, we know last week’s episode ended with a hospital orderly pointing a gun at Linda, Danny’s wife, during his attempt to kill a witness to a gang murder. And since “Blue Bloods” doesn’t typically pull the Shonda Rhimes-style shockers, it’s a safe bet that Linda (or whichever Reagan goes down) will live. But – Danny investigating the shooting of his own wife would be a conflict of interest, you say. Yes, but this is “Blue Bloods,” I say.
Also on tonight . . .
Mayweather vs Pacquiao: Weigh-in Live (6 p.m., HBO/Showtime) – Consumed by the Mayweather-Pacquiao hype? The weigh-in for tomorrow’s fight will air live on HBO and Showtime. The pay-per-view fight takes place Saturday.
Whose Line Is It Anyway? (8:30 p.m., CW) – Tonight’s guest comic is Keegan-Michael Key (“Key and Peele”).
Beyond the Tank (9 p.m., ABC) – In this “Shark Tank” spinoff, Robert Herjavec helps the duo behind Tipsy Elves as they find themselves at a crossroads, while a teenager who didn’t get an investment for his fruit-infused water bottle talks about his experience.
Meet the Smiths (9 p.m., TBS) – Kenny tries to help Gwen with her stress, while Kayla and Monique attempt to keep Kenny out of their business.
Unearthed (10 p.m., Discovery) – In this new program, a drought ravages the normally abundant truffle crop in Falls City, Oregon, and the low supply promises the price of truffles will increase.
