What to Watch on Monday: HBO documentary explores lost art
Packed in a Trunk: The Lost Art of Edith Lake Wilkinson (9 p.m., HBO) – The life of Edith Lake Wilkinson, an artist locked away in an asylum in the 1920s, is told in this documentary by Anderson’s great-niece, Jane Anderson.
Yukon River Run (9 p.m., National Geographic) – This new series follows three raft crews as they begin preparations for a trek downstream to sell goods to native villages. Each wooden raft will serve as their home throughout the five-week journey.
Tut (9 p.m., Spike) – In the second part of this miniseries, Tut deals with a deadly illness spreaking through the kingdom and an unexpected betrayal from his inner circle.
Running Wild with Bear Grylls (10 p.m., NBC) – Jesse Tyler Ferguson (“Modern Family”) joins Bear on a 6,000-foot decent along the cliffs and ridges of Croda dei Toni.
Return to Homs (10 p.m., UNC-TV) – In this POV documentary, a 19-year-old goalkeeper for the Syrian national soccer team becomes an armed insurgent.
UnREAL (10 p.m., Lifetime) – As the final elimination ceremony approaches, Adam is offered an interesting proposal.
Diggers (10 p.m., National Geographic) – Season four opens tracking the trail of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. At 10:30, a look at President James Madison’s historic home in Virginia.
