What to Watch on Wednesday: NBC debuts ‘Mr. Robinson’

Mr. Robinson (9 p.m., NBC) – This new 6-episode sitcom starring Craig Robinson (“The Office”) will air two-at-a-time for the next three weeks. Robinson plays a teacher who is also the lead singer of a funk band. Gary Cole guest stars as rock legend Neville Rex in the 9:30 episode.

Also on tonight . . .

Life on the Reef (8 p.m., UNC-TV) – The third and final episode in this first season follows human and animal residents of the reef as they prepare for a Category 5 cyclone which promises to bring destruction to the North Queensland coast.

America’s Next Top Model (8 p.m., CW) – The 22nd installment of this show begins with a swimwear competition.

Mr. Robot (10 p.m., USA) – Elliot is missing and the future depends on Mr. Robot pulling fsociety back together.
