What to Watch on Saturday: ‘Mythbusters’ takes on ‘Star Wars’

Mythbusters (9 p.m., Discovery) – For the second time, Jamie and Adam take on the science of the “Star Wars” universe. Among the topics they cover are light saber duels and laser blasters.

Doctor Who (8 p.m., BBC America) – The “Doctor’s Finest” submission this week is “The Day of the Doctor,” in which the Doctors share an adventure across space and time, and an ancient battle reaches a devastating conclusion.

Blunt Talk (10 p.m., Starz) – Walter (Patrick Stewart) is ordered by the court to attend AA meetings while his staff goes about their peculiar weekends.

Instant Jam (10 p.m., CMT) – Darius Rucker surprises fans with a beachfront concert at the Windjammer in his hometown of Charleston, S.C.
