What to Watch on Monday: ‘Supergirl’ arrives, ‘Fargo’ thrives

Supergirl (8:30 p.m., CBS) – This strong new superhero drama has a nostalgic vibe but feels fresh and fun. Melissa Benoist is Supergirl, who has the same powers as her cousin Superman. Tired of living a “normal” life and hiding her gifts, Kara reveals herself to the world. Moves to a regular timeslot of 8 p.m. next week.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (8 p.m., CW) – Despite a childhood fear of hosting parties and a lack of social connections in West Covina, Rebecca plans a housewarming party.

Switched at Birth (8 p.m., ABC Family) – In the season finale, Daphne applies for an international internship that would bring her closer to Quinn.

I’ll Have What Phil’s Having (10 p.m., UNC-TV) – Phil travels to Barcelona, where he has a world-class breakfast of foie-gras and eggs, participates in a tapas crawl and visits a vermouth bar.

Blindspot (10 p.m., NBC) – The team discovers an app that allows criminals to track government vehicles and must work to take it down.

Fargo (10 p.m., FX) – This show seems to get better with each episode. Tonight, the Gerhardts’ search for Rye intensifies and Peggy overhears a new theory about the Waffle Hut shooter.
