Austin City Limits (Midnight, UNC-TV) – Singer-songwriter James Taylor performs classic fan favorites as well as songs from his new CD, “Before This World.”

Dr. Dee: Alaska Vet (8 p.m., Animal Planet) - Dr. Dee examines a large horse with a potentially deadly problem.

Doctor Who (9 p.m., BBC America) – A terrifying story assembled from footage discovered in the wreckage of Le Verrier Space Station.
