What to Watch on Tuesday: ‘Chicago Med’ completes Wolf Trilogy
Chicago Med (9 p.m., NBC) – The third in Dick Wolf’s “Chicago” trilogy, this one about a hospital emergency department (Disclaimer: If “Law & Order” is any indication, I’m sure Wolf has plans for this franchise to move beyond the trilogy phase). In the opener, an influx of crash victims arrive at the ER. Expect lots of crossovers with “Chicago Fire” (Tuesday 10 p.m.) and “Chicago PD” (Wednesday 10 p.m.).
Also on tonight . . .
The Flash (8 p.m., CW) – Barry races to rescue Caitlin when Grodd kidnaps her.
The Muppets (8 p.m., ABC) – Chelsea Handler makes things interesting for Scooter when he books her on the show.
Scream Queens (9 p.m., Fox) – Denise tells a terrifying ghost story, and the killer claims another victim.
Manhattan (9 p.m., WGN) – The scientists and the Army battle for control of the bomb.
Being Mary Jane (10 p.m., BET) – A scandal forces Mark to reconsider his future at the network.
Limitless (10 p.m., CBS) – In exchange for his personal headquarters at the agency, Brian offers to catch the FBI’s 10 most wanted criminals in two weeks.
Drunk History (10:30 p.m., Comedy Central) – Stories about Las Vegas include Bugsy Siegel betting his life on the Flamingo Casino.
